Rendered Leaf Lard

Leaf lard is the highest-quality pork fat, known for its naturally mild aroma and smooth, creamy texture.  We render it low and slow to preserve its naturally mild aroma and ultra-smooth texture.  It is prized in baking for producing exceptionally flaky pie crusts, biscuits, and pastries. 

Each batch is hot-packed into glass 8 oz jars, which naturally seals the lid as it cools. This makes the product shelf-stable while unopened when stored in a cool, dark place.

Once opened, store in the refrigerator for long-term freshness.

Made from our nose-to-tail, pasture-raised Berkshire hogs, raised on rotational forage and non-GMO feed. No additives. No preservatives. Just clean, traditional fat rendered the way homesteads have been doing it for generations.
